This loop will keep you updated on upcoming shows, releases, and other events for More Than Medium.
More Than Medium is a rock quartet from Denver that fuses a spectrum of influences to create music that is loud, powerful, and memorable. Consisting of Keegan Spangenberg (Vocals), Jose' Algara (Guitar, Vocals), Alex Zamora (Bass), and Nick Zamora (Drums, Vocals), the group came together in March of 2004 (except for Jose', who joined >M in August 2006 after Imkong Yaden's departure) with the intention of creating rock with great hooks, energy, and a high level of musicianship.

Since forming, they have shared the stage with many national acts as well as Denver's best bands at venues including Denver's Soiled Dove, Ogden Theater, Hermans Hideaway, The Blue Mule, Gothic Theater, The Walnut Room, and Bluebird Theater, as well as The Palms Casino, The Urban Lounge in Salt Lake, The Foundry in Boulder, and many others. They continue to develop their presence in and around Denver with strong word-of-mouth promotion resulting in ever increasing attendance at their shows, tremendous response from fans on their website, airplay on 93.3 KTCL (listed in the Westword as one of the top 10 Local Spins), a recent inclusion on the Wow, Thats What I Call Denver!" compilation CD, and unending requests for their upcoming full-length release...
...we give it everything we've got, every chance we get and we thank you for noticing. >M
"Pristinely recorded at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, More Than Medium's eponymous debut is as polished and by-the-numbers radio-friendly as it gets. If ever there was a forumla for igniting a heated Love affair with broadcasters, this quartet has followed it down to the letter. In the span of three songs that have a running time of just under twelve minutes, More Than Medium makes a strong case for why it should be considered as a contender for Denver's next breakthrough mainstream act. Fans of straightahead, guitar driven rock in the vein of Default and Nickelback will instantly recognize and embrace the patented ebb-and-flow dynamic of those bands on (More Than) Medium, where subdued verses bookend exploding choruses built upon gigantic hooks while ascending/descending octave chods bridge the ends together. There's a distinct line between those who find alt-rock anthemic and those who consider it anemic. Regardless of which side you fall on, Medium more than lives up to its name on this disc."
